Danielle Couture

Dr. Danielle Couture was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) in 2018 after having completed her clinical year of vet school at Cornell University. Following vet school, she completed a one year rotating equine internship at Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery in Weatherford, TX. She's spent the last 6+ years working as a mixed animal veterinarian and emergency veterinarian in the Central Texas area. Her professional interests include: ophthalmology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She will be joining us full time and is looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies at Mercy!

In her spare time, Dr. Couture can usually be found doing something that involves horses. She was a competitive equestrian prior to attending vet school and hopes to make it to some local hunter/jumping shows in the near future with one of her new horses. She has three horses: Holly, Ozzie and Eclipse. She also has three dogs: an American Eskimo mix named Bandit & two Mini Aussie X Corgi mixes named Dolly and Gypsy.
